Business Innovation & Investment Visa (Subclass 188) – Australia
The Subclass 188 visa is a provisional visa designed for entrepreneurs, investors, and business owners seeking to establish or invest in Australia. Valid for up to four years, this visa requires state/territory nomination or an eligible investor sponsorship. Applicants must also meet age, English proficiency, and health criteria.
The visa offers five pathways:
- Business Innovation Stream – For individuals wanting to start or manage a business.
- Investor Stream – For those making a designated investment in Australia.
- Significant Investor Stream – For applicants investing at least AUD 5 million.
- Premium Investor Stream – For those investing a minimum of AUD 15 million.
